The by the pines story...

Let us begin by explaining our name first, as it is the centre of our business after all. When we started dating, our favourite activity was a little hike in the local woods that we refer to as the 'pines'. A beautiful space filled with big strong pine trees, earthy grass and the beautiful sandy dunes next to the beach. As we got older, life has gotten more chaotic and hectic, which means less time to pause. So we decided to bring out a scent range that captures the outdoors and brings it inside for you. 

Each scent is inspired by the most relaxing and cosy smells of nature that we all know and love. We find the candles capture the perfect outdoor memories and fill the room with a feeling of familiarity and calmness. 

As we know, a candle makes a beautiful gift for all occasions and is one of our favourite presents to gift to our loved and dear ones. We wanted to make sure that our business provides the most high quality and luxury candles just for this purpose. But the only fault we found is that candle gifts burn away eventually become a memory forgotten. Which is why we made the decision to pair our candles with sentimental and thoughtful hand-made ceramics that will keep the thoughtful gift a memory they can keep hold off forever.

Our lovely candles and ceramics are all hand-made in our studio and personalised to ensure it is a gift like no other. All wrapped up in a beautiful bow, the perfect thoughtful keepsake that will fill the house with relaxation and calmness of the wonderful outdoors.
